Anj Rujj was a Human member of the Thugs of Thule, a highly educated gang of mercenaries. Prior to the outbreak of the Clone Wars,[1] a conflict starting in 22 BBY,[3] he frequented the Outlander Club,[1] a nightclub and gambling hall[4] in the Uscru Entertainment District of the planet Coruscant.[2] During a night[5] in 22 BBY,[6] Rujj walked past the Rodian Tyyx in the Outlander Club. At the club, he wore a red shirt, yellow pants, a yellow scarf, and a pair of red shoes. Rujj had light skin and blond hair kept in a braid.[2]

Behind the scenes

Anj Rujj was first mentioned in the 2003 reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, authored by Simon Beecroft and Curtis Saxton.[7] The Outlander Club content in the book, which includes Rujj, was illustrated by Hans Jenssen.[8]
