8123 was an individual who served as a guard of the Benelex Marshal Service at a prison on the planet Gulhadar.[1] Between around 8 BBY and 2 BBY,[2] 8123 was present in the prison's mess hall when the Wookiee prisoner Chewbacca collapsed to the floor after taking pills created by fellow prisoner Phaedra. As they made their way to Chewbacca, the guard informed other prisoners who had gathered around the Wookiee to move out of the way. 8123 then pulled out a comlink and informed medical that a prisoner was down. The guard then checked Chewbacca's pulse and updated their report to medical, informing them that the prisoner was actually deceased. In reality, however, Chewbacca was not dead, and was just made to seem that way as part of Phaedra's plan to escape the prison.[1]
