The Fifty-two Fists was the name of an unarmed combat fighting move. Comprising a blizzard of lightning-fast attacks over a period of less than five seconds, the attack required total commitment to absolute destruction of the opponent. Done properly, it could kill a fighter three times the practitioner's size and weight. However, even the slightest tremor of intent left the fighter wide open to all manner of retribution. Artagan Truax taught his son Eogan this combat technique while preparing him for gladiatorial fights onboard the Cog Hive Seven space station. Later, Eogan successfully used the Fifty-two Fists to kill six blind armed workers sent by Iram Radique to murder Artagan.[1]
