Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A battalion of stormtroopers answered to the Fifth Brother Inquisitor during the hunt for Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. Combined with the support of the Sith Lord Darth Vader, the battalion gave the Fifth Brother an advantage in the hunt for the Kenobi,[2] whose capture would elevate the status of any Inquisitor in Vader's eyes. The battalion accompanied the Fifth Brother to the planet Daiyu during the hunt and marched behind him through the streets of Daiyu City.[1] However, the clever tactics employed by another Inquisitor, the Third Sister,[2] outmaneuvered the Fifth Brother and his stormtroopers; the Third Sister put an open bounty on Kenobi, revealing the Jedi's location to her as he was attacked by blaster fire.[1]

Behind the scenes

The 2023 Topps Disney Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi set describes the unit as both a legion and a squad.[3] As Star Wars The Dark Side Pocket Expert presents no contradictory information,[2] this article sides with its statement that the unit is a battalion.
