Fibersaws were silk-thin cutting tools in use[2] by around 22 BBY.[1] These strands could shear through a droideka's casing, dissecting the droid. In combat, a JK-13 security droid's tentacular extremities could thin to nearly invisible dimensions, operating as fibersaws.[2]
