Feral Group was a starfighter flight group that served as part of the Rebel Alliance's starfighter corps during the Galactic Civil War. The squadron most notably participated in the Battle of Cawa City.[1]
Description
Feral Group were a starfighter flight group in the Rebel Alliance Starfighter Corps of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. During the Galactic Civil War, Feral Group's starfighters consisted of BTL-A4 Y-wing assault starfighter/bombers that were painted gray with red stripes.[1]
History
Battle of Cawa City

Seventeen days after the Battle of Endor, Feral Group's Y-wing bombers were tasked with destroying an All Terrain Armored Transport with support from Green Squadron's A-wings, who fought off any TIE fighters. The Y-wings dropped magnetising cluster bombs that magnetized to the hull of the AT-AT, which guaranteed the kill. At the time of the battle, an Abednedo served as a member of the unit.[1]
Behind the scenes
Feral Group first appeared in the comic book Shattered Empire 2, which was written by Greg Rucka and published by Marvel Comics[1] on October 7, 2015.[2]
