Feldwes was a planet located in the Feldwes system. It was situated in the Back Reach area of the Gordian Reach sector within the Trans-Hydian portion of the Outer Rim Territories. The hyperlane known as the Ardan Cross connected it to the Arda and Pygorix systems.[1]
Feldwes was a factory world that served as an industrial powerhouse of the Back Reach, with members of the B'trillan, Human, and T'sarki species from across the region wishing to procure permits for working there. After the mining world Little Capella was discovered shortly before the Battle of Yavin, crews of workers were reassigned there from Feldwes.[1]
Behind the scenes
Feldwes was introduced in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square Q-6.[1]
