The Farseen system was a star system located in the Mid Rim where the New Republic maintained a base. While New Republic and Imperial troops clashed, the mercenary unit Star's Nova, led by Qell Tepine, penetrated the base's command center and disabled the perimeter weapons. The Empire was able to take the base.
