This article covers a subject from a Star Wars: Visions story that Lucasfilm declared is set in an alternate history within a reimagined galaxy.

The various farm villages were a series of villages found beyond the hovertrain tracks on the desert planet Golak. Siblings Rani and Charuk were from one such village, but were sent away by their father when the village was attacked. The citizens of their village refused to fight back against the invaders, and all of what they had was burned. After scavengers witnessed Rani using the Force and the train headed towards a city near the Golak Mahal, they reported this to the Galactic Empire, who dispatched an Inquisitor to search for her. This Inquisitor then claimed to have burned the farm villages to the ground, leaving no survivors, before tracking Rani down. He was killed by the Jedi survivor Rugal shortly thereafter.[1]
