The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A war occurred in the far galaxy, long before the New Republic Era.[2] The Great Mothers, descendants from the ancient Witch Kingdom of the Dathmiri on Peridea,[1] were in a hibernation sleep during the war. When they were reawakened[2] by Mitth'raw'nuruodo,[3] they discovered their way of life had been destroyed, and the far galaxy and Peridea were largely dead and barren from the war.[2]

The far galaxy war was mentioned by Dave Filoni in "Darkness Rising," a featurette included in Ahsoka: The Complete First Season, as part of backstory for the series.[2]
