F'Dann IX

F'Dann IX was a celestial body[3] located in the F'Dann system, a part of the Dufilvian sector[1] in the Slice portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] At some point by 2 BBY,[4] the Carrack-class light cruiser Dominant of the Galactic Empire engaged the Crimson Nova Gang in battle near F'Dann IX, a confrontation in which the Dominant suffered damage heavy enough to warrant repairs in drydock.[3]

Behind the scenes

F'Dann IX was mentioned in The Truce at Bakura Sourcebook, a 1996 sourcebook published for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the F'Dann system, and thereby F'Dann IX, in grid square R-15.[2]
