For other uses, see Belt.

Explosives belts were small belts that acted as concealed explosives kits. They were normally made from broad hides or synthetic materials, and were produced in a wide variety of styles. Explosives belts typically contained detonite tape, a remote detonator cap, and a length of wire, all concealed within the belt buckle. They were produced by various intelligence agencies across the galaxy, and cost 450 credits on the market. They could be detonated from a distance, which made them common among saboteurs and infiltrators who used them for sabotage.[1]

Behind the scenes

Explosives belts were first mentioned in Cyphers and Masks,[1] a 2018 sourcebook for the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game published by Fantasy Flight Games.[2]
