Exastone was a type of gray stone. During the High Republic Era, the Sith assassin Mae-ho Aniseya used a set of knives with hardened exastone tips.[1]

Exastone first appeared simultaneously in "Lost / Found"[2] and "Revenge / Justice,"[3] the first and second episodes of the 2024 Disney+ live-action series The Acolyte,[2][3] which aired on June 4, 2024.[4] It was first depicted in a trailer shown exclusively at Celebration Europe[5] during the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase on April 7, 2023.[6] Exastone was identified in a StarWars.com article published on April 10, 2025 that showed preview pages of Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, a reference book by Pablo Hidalgo that was released on June 17, 2025.[7]
