Esselian defense force

The Esselian defense force was a military unit protecting the Core World Esseles. Esseles native Tamizander Rey served with the defense force before resigning following the dissolution of the Imperial Senate in 0 BBY. Rey would later go on to serve with the Alliance to Restore the Republic at the secret Echo Base on the planet Hoth, where he participated in the Battle of Hoth.^[1]
