Esquire was a title of courtesy. It was usually placed after its bearer's surname in the abbreviated form Esq. Ebe E. Endocott, a famous Triffian podracer from Triffis, held that title.[1] Eramuth Bwua'tu, Esquire was a well-respected Bothan advocate who was active in the reign of the Galactic Alliance and defended Tahiri Veila in her high-profile trial.[2]
