"I was friendly with some of the guards at the spaceport because I spent most days burning fuel by taking the Meridian for solo runs to nowhere."
―Izal Garsea, to Julen Rakab[1]

A spaceport was located on the Mid Rim planet Eroudac. At some point after leaving the Outer Rim planet Batuu[1] in 21 ABY,[2] the Garsea family moved to Eroudac. While on Eroudac, Izal Garsea spent most of her time at the world's spaceport, burning the fuel of her family's starship—the Meridian—on "solo runs to nowhere" and eventually becoming friends with the port's guards. Following her return to Batuu[1] in 34 ABY,[2] Garsea told her childhood friend, the farmer Julen Rakab, about the Eroudac spaceport.[1]

Behind the scenes

The spaceport was mentioned in the 2019 young-adult novel A Crash of Fate, written by Zoraida Córdova.[1]

  2. 2.0 2.1 Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of A Crash of Fate to 34 ABY. The novel establishes that Izal Garsea left the planet Batuu when she was five years old, and as the novel takes place on the day before and on Izal Garsea's eighteenth birthday, she must have left the planet in 21 ABY.
