Eric Johnston worked as lead programmer on LucasArts video games.
Biography
Johnston majored in electrical engineering and computer science at University of California, Berkeley; upon graduation he worked at the NASA Ames Research Center on graphics computers and robotic systems, designing and testing uses for robotics like teleoperation through helmet and gloves.[1]
He worked for Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire video game, released for Nintendo 64 and PC in 1996 and 1997, respectively.
Later, he was one of the senior engineers of the development team for the Ronin Engine.[2]
