The Erhynradd Mutiny was a conflict that took place in 5 BBY[1] in the vicinity of[2] the Inner Rim's Erhynradd system.[4] It saw the death of Brigadier Gideon Tarkin of the Galactic Empire.[3] When Tarkin's brother, Imperial Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin, received news of Gideon's death, he accepted the brigadier's[5] teenage[3] daughter, Rivoche, into his family estate on[5] the Outer Rim Territories' planet[4] Eriadu. Resentful at the loss of her father, Rivoche frequently threw tantrums. That ended when Wilhuff had a friendly servant girl and her family imprisoned on a penal asteroid, after which his niece began to conceal her true feelings.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Erhynradd Mutiny was created by Michael Allen Horne and was introduced in Cracken's Rebel Operatives, a 1994 West End Games sourcebook published for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3]

(In reply to: "Jason, is Gendrah-Narvin a city country, star, or planet?")" (backup link) Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, co-authors of The Essential Atlas, stated their intention to create the approximate locations for numerous events based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Erhynradd Mutiny in relation to the Erhynradd system.
