The engineer's hammer was an all-purpose hammer designed for construction and demolitions. It had a meter-long plasteel haft at one end and a sledgehammer head and prybar at the other. The engineer's hammer was typically used to breach doorways, destroy walls, pull down fixtures, and destroy structures by hand. It cost 350 credits on the market and could also be used as a melee weapon. The Alliance Corps of Engineers was known to use the hammer.[1]

The engineer's hammer was first mentioned in Fully Operational,[1] a 2018 sourcebook for the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game published by Fantasy Flight Games.[2]
