Energy capacitors were components used in weapons,[1] and also as hand-held tools.[2] The energy capacitors used in the MAS-2xB mobile turbolaser were wrapped in cryogenic cylinders to stop them overheating during use.[1] Dardrennis Survival Technology manufactured the EMS-500, a hand-held tool energy capacitor.[2]
