Emple Ortok was a human male who served in the Nihil marauder organization.[2] In 228 BBY,[1] Ortok was on their balcony of their apartment in Eriadu City on the planet Eriadu when the former Lucem Jedi Padawan Ruu landing on the balcony. As Ortok stood in shock at the man and demanded a name, Ruu exclaimed while igniting his lightsaber that he was one of them before striking down Ortok. Ruu proceeded to steal the Ortok's identichip and left them on the balcony while heading to a public shipyard to their private vessel. Ruu later used the identichip and voice of Ortok to travel pass the Stormwall.[2]

Emple Ortok first appeared in "Chronicles of Corellia: Cracking the Mask," the second installment of the The High Republic: Chronicles of Corellia short stories. The story was written by Alyssa Wong and published in Star Wars Insider 228th issue[2] on October 29, 2024.[3]
