Emotional regulators were among the components of the AJ^6 cyborg construct,[1] a cybernetic implant designed to increase the user's productivity in exchange for their personality.[2] Although the regulators were meant to suppress the emotional responses of the implant's wearer, they could be overwhelmed by strong waves of raw emotions.[1]
