Elmel was a Human male Jedi Master and combat instructor who served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic during the Cold War with the reconstituted Sith Empire. A Jedi Consular, he was stationed on the Core World of Alderaan, where he could be found in the building known as the Hall of Learning on the grounds of Castle Organa, the home of the Republic-allied noble House of Organa.[1]
