An electrospanner was a type of tool used in the galaxy.[1] In 3 ABY[2] defective electrospanners were considered junk.[1]
Behind the scenes
Electrospanners appeared in the canon continuity as an inventory item in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws. In the game, only defective electrospanners were shown and were depicted with a pile of scraps the same image the game uses for all junk. They were considered junk and could only be sold for one credit, and did not have another function.[1]
In the Star Wars Legends continuity electrospanners were first mentioned in 2004 novel MedStar II: Jedi Healer by Michael Reaves.[3]
