Electro-snare

An Electro-snare was a device used to stun a target or prey animal to capture it alive.^[1]

Small and difficult to detect, yet simple and highly effective - to the point of being considered nearly foolproof - an electro-snare was one of the most humane traps on the market for capturing prey alive. Ubiquitous across the galaxy and sold by many different manufacturers, an electro-snare was little more than a tiny power pack, energy discharge node, and a proximity sensor fit into a tiny light weight metal frame.^[1]
