The Eighth Imperial Infantry was an infantry unit in the Imperial Army of the Sith Empire during the Galactic War. The unit was part of the covert Imperial force sent to the planet Makeb, and Private Vendelik—a Makeb native—was killed when he deviated from their assignment of stealing isotope-5 in order to shut down the Hutt Cartel's drills and save his family and friends.[1]
