- «This cloth is of course modern, but is of the same design and texture as that used in the Twelfth Era. The stitching style is from the Fourteenth, the particular dye coloring was first used in the Seventeenth, and the edging style from the Eighteenth. The machine itself is a refurbished antique from the Fifteenth.»
- ―Dame Mimott, to Ar'alani and Mitth'raw'nuruodo
The Eighteenth Era was a period of time in the history of the Unknown Regions Garwian Unity nation. It was preceded by the Seventeenth Era.[1] By 19 BBY,[2] on the Unknown Regions planet Solitair, the Garwian dame Mimott showcased a modern cloth that incorporated an edging style from the Eighteenth Era to the Chiss officers Ar'alani and Mitth'raw'nuruodo.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Eighteenth Era was mentioned in the flashbacks of the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
