Eefive-Tootoo was an E522 assassin droid. Originally in the service of Jabba the Hutt, Eefive was fed to the rancor. Two Jawas salvaged the remains, stripped the droid of its assassin droid programming and sold the unit to Lady Valarian.
History
Eefive-Tootoo was acquired by the crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure. While on the sail barge Khetanna, one of Jabba's Human servants accused the Bith musician Doikk Na'ts of snacking on Jabba's stash of freckled toads. Eefive was present and provided Jabba with an alibi for Doikk's whereabouts. Disappointed at having no one to truly blame, Jabba decided to take his frustration out on Eefive. He had him liberally coated with meat juices and thrown into the rancor dungeon at Jabba's Palace. By the time the rancor had finished with Eefive, the remains were seemingly beyond repair.[2]
Some time after this event, two Jawas, Het Nkik and Jek Nkik found Eefive's discarded remains. After months of rebuilding the droid, they successfully sold the unit, stripped of its weapons systems, to the Whiphid gangster known as Lady Valarian who put him to use as her personal messenger.[3]
Shortly before the Battle of Yavin, Valarian sent Eefive to Jabba's Palace to recruit the Bith musical group Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes to perform at her wedding to the Whiphid hunter D'Wopp. Eefive tendered an offer of three thousand credits to the band for one night's work.[2]
