The Eastern Ice Shelf was a region on the planet Ilum that saw heavy fighting during the Battle of Ilum in the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. It was the site of the Ilum Temple, the Southern Sleetlands, Fort Salvo, and a number of crystal mines.
