Eagles were a type of predatory flying creature. During the High Republic Era, while on a mission to the astronomical object Cethis, Jedi Padawan Amadeo Azzazzo watched three Republic Defense Coalition transport starships landing as their security escorts circled above like watchful eagles.[1]
