Durand was a male Human Lieutenant of the reconstituted Sith Empire living during the Galactic War. In 3640 BBY he was stationed at the Jagged Plains Imperial Garrison on Hoth, where an Imperial hero informed him that Sergeant Peden and his squad were wiped out by the Republic spy droids.
