Dunesa Rul

Dunesa Rul was an individual who came from a planet in the Outer Rim Territories. Rul grew up helping his family by apprenticing with a local metalsmith. Wanting to test his skills, Rul traveled to the Core Worlds and worked in several forges until the quality of his weapons caught the attention of the Mandalorian clans. With their support, he opened his own forge at a young age.[1]

Rul's creations, prized within the Mandalorians, were often handed down through generations. Rul was killed in an explosion during an altercation between Clan Mettir and Clan Ironstone, who were both trying to claim one of his finest pieces—a durasteel dagger which became known as The Final Blade of Dunesa Rul. Both clans were wiped out and the dagger was never found.[1]

Dunesa Rul was first mentioned in the codex entry "Mandalorian Relics: The Final Blade of Dunesa Rul," introduced in Game Update 7.2: Showdown on Ruhnuk, released on December 13, 2022, as part of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Legacy of the Sith,[3] the eighth digital expansion to the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars: The Old Republic.[4]
