"Where are your parents?"
"My mother died two winters back. I didn't know my father."
―Darth Sidious and Drua[2]

A female individual was the mother of the Twi'lek girl Drua, a child who lived on the planet Ryloth during the Imperial Era. The mother died in a winter season[2] around 16 BBY,[1] which left Drua an orphan, as the girl had never known her father. Afterward, Drua lived with her grandfather in a village on Ryloth.[2] In 14 BBY,[1] Drua spoke to the Sith Lords Darth Sidious and Darth Vader—unaware of their true identities—and told them of her mother's death as she led the pair to her village.[2]

Behind the scenes

Drua's mother was mentioned in Lords of the Sith, a 2015 novel written by Paul S. Kemp.[2]
