Droid Tales is a canon young-reader picture-book series from Disney–Lucasfilm Press. The series currently comprises two books, C-3PO Does NOT Like Sand! (2019) and R2-D2 is LOST! (2020), both written by Caitlin Kennedy and illustrated by Brian Kesinger. A third book, BB-8 and the Snow Monster was scheduled for release in 2024, but was later cancelled.
