The drifters' district was one of the districts of the city of Phemiss. It was separated from the rest of the city by the Pharine River and was primarily inhabited by Nosaurians who did not belong to a clan.[1]
The district was considered the liveliest part of the city, and was known for its juke joints and eateries. It also contained the Phemiss Low Port, the largest spaceport in the city. During the Imperial Period, the Galactic Empire destroyed part of the district in order to build factories. They later added a number of avenues that cut up the district.[1]
