Drezzel was an Imperial Captain in command of the Imperial outpost on Seoul 5 just after Battle of Endor. An Imperial Governor dispatched Drezzel and a sizable landing force to the formerly lost world, home to an ancient and legendary Human civilization, in order to search for valuable treasures. There they found a cache of extremely valuable Seoularian crystals, and assigned scientists Ualp Xathan and Fem Nu-Ar to study the find. However, they were soon joined by Han Solo and Chewbacca, representatives of the new Alliance of Free Planets, inveterate fortune-seekers who had themselves come searching for plunder. Drezzel dispatched his personal adjutant, the telepathic feline Ssssk!, to hunt down the newcomers, but he was unable to prevent Solo from overloading the city's crystal control room and causing a massive explosion that destroyed the entire city.[1]
