Drebb

Drebb was a member of the Pyke Syndicate who was stationed on the moon Toshara in 3 ABY. That year, they were tasked with using the sale of a Bev Kranti clam to rob members of the rival Crimson Dawn syndicate.

Biography

Drebb was an individual who,^[2] by 3 ABY,^[1] had become a member of the Pyke Syndicate on the Outer Rim moon Toshara.^[2] In 3 ABY,^[1] the Mon Calamari information broker Danka Orsato brokered the sale of a valuable Bev Kranti clam from the Pykes to the Ashiga Clan. However, the Pykes instead planned to use the clam to scam members of the Crimson Dawn syndicate by tricking them into purchasing the clam with no intention of delivering it. To that end, Drebb was tasked with meeting the Crimson Dawn representatives in the Mirage region of Toshara as part of the sale. Prior to the meeting, Drebb was sent a message from their superiors that reminded them not to bring the clam to the meeting; going on to state that Drebb should immediately blast the representatives if they demanded to see the clam prior to the sale and collect any credits they had on their person. A copy of the message was stored on a datapad, which Drebb brought with them to the meeting.^[2]

Having learned of the Pyke's planned meeting with Crimson Dawn, Orsato hired the thief Kay Vess and her companion ND-5, a BX-series droid commando, to retrieve the clam from the syndicates. The pair arrived at the meeting as it began, and Vess informed the group that she was there to collect the clam on behalf of Orsato. The resulting firefight led to the death of Drebb, along with all the members of the Pykes and Crimson Dawn present at the meeting. Having survived the exchange, Vess searched the site and found the datapad with the message to Drebb on a nearby speeder bike. The aftermarket parts used on the Pyke's speeders led her to the Pyke Syndicate workshop on Toshara, where she found the clam and ultimately delivered it to Orsato.^[2]

Equipment

During the meeting with Crimson Dawn, Drebb wore a teal, grey, and brown outfit. They used a speeder bike modified with aftermarket parts to travel to the meeting.^[2]

Behind the scenes

Drebb appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. They are one of several Pyke Syndicate members that have to be killed as part of "The Broker" quest, during which the character is identified by the "Instructions for Drebb" datapad. The datapad does not specify which of the Pyke Syndicate enemies specifically is Drebb, making the character's visual appearance unclear.^[2]
