"Dread Discovery!" was the third installment of The Keeper's World, published in Pizzazz 3 in December 1977. The entire story arc was reprinted in the UK in Star Wars Weekly 47–50 in 1978–79, and in the 1999 limited-release comic Star Wars 0.
Plot summary
Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, C-3PO, and R2-D2 have crash-landed on an unknown planet while escaping an Imperial fleet. C-3PO discovers evidence of large creatures dwelling on the planet. Meanwhile, the Imperials discover their crash site and send a landing craft to re-capture them.

- ↑ "The Keeper's World" and "The Kingdom of Ice" depict the Rebel Alliance still occupying their base on Yavin 4 after the Battle of Yavin, meaning that the stories must fall between Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope and the Evacuation of Yavin as shown in "Doom Mission". The New Essential Chronology dates the Battle of Yavin and Evacuation of Yavin to 0 ABY and 0.5 ABY respectively.
