Dread Cavern

The Dread Cavern was the name given to a large cave on the southern edge of the Barren Tract on the moon Oricon. During the Dread War, the forces of the Dread Masters imprisoned an elder subteroth there and used it as a power source for their terraforming devices.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The Dread Cavern was first added to the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic as part of Game Update 2.4: The Dread War. It is the site of the shared-faction story mission "Seeds of Dread" and the repeatable Daily version of that mission, "Dread Engines."^[1]
