Drangea were large aquatic creatures that lived in the deepest, coldest parts of Mon Cala's ocean. Described as being squid-like, it had two brains, one in its crest and one that floated freely around its body. It had long, venomous tentacles that could attack hunters even after its head was cut off. Its roe was considered a delicacy and very valuable. As a result, many people were killed trying to hunt it, and were fed upon by the headless drangeas.[1]
