The Drall Patriots were a group of Drall extremists fighting for the independence of Drall from the unified government of the Corellian system during the Galactic Civil War.
History

The Drall Patriots were a small, unorganized military group forced to follow CorSec laws without implementing their own. Finally, the Drall government could take it no longer. They secretly started to train troops and send them to Corellia and Talus to fight CorSec and its ally, the Fed-Dub. The patriot troops were no match for CorSec. It was not until the Selonian Separatists provided aid that they had a chance.
The Drall Patriots were present on Corellia after the Battle of Yavin. They were based in a cave in the Agrilat Swamp.[1] They also owned a warehouse on the outskirts of the city of Doaba Guerfel.[2]
In 1 ABY,[4] a CorSec agent working for Captain Vitala Baize investigated the Doaba Guerfel warehouse because the informant Lilith Laughlin mentioned possible connections between the Drall Patriots and a criminal organization known as the Chirq Council. The agent assaulted the bunker and killed several Drall Patriot tacticians. Although it was discovered that the Patriots were hatching some future terrorist activities, no evidence of connections with the Chirq Council was found.[2] In the meantime, the Selonian peacekeeper Dayana was also investigating the warehouse. The Selonian tasked a spacer to infiltrate the bunker in order to discover what the Drall Patriots were planning. The spacer downloaded information from their data terminals and Dayana was then able to prevent the Drall Patriots future attack.[3]

- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
