During the Clone Wars, a flotilla was commanded by Count Dooku, the leader of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. In 22 BBY, at the same time as the Confederacy's conquest of the planet Ryloth, the flotilla was active in realspace. It also participated in the Separatists' invasion of Scipio, in which resulted in a temporary blockade of the planet Scipio and led to a brief battle between the warships of Dooku's fleet and the Galactic Republic fleet of Jedi General Anakin Skywalker. Shortly after the Republic's arrival, however, the flotilla fled the system at Dooku's command.
Description
The flotilla[1] served as the personal fleet of the Confederacy of Independent Systems' leader, Count Dooku. Flagged by Dooku's personal Providence-class Dreadnought, it consisted of at least six Munificent-class star frigates and two Lucrehulk-class Battleships.[3] Later during the time of the Scipio invasion, the flotilla was in possession of Dual Hemisphere-Omni Support Vessels.[2]
Behind the scenes
The flotilla first appeared in "Supply Lines,"[3] the third episode of the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars' third season, which originally aired on September 24, 2010.[4]
