Dixian, also known as Low Ghor, was a writing system for the Ghor language, spoken by the Ghormans on the planet with the same name. Apart from Dixian, Ghor could also be written in Ghorelle, also known as High Ghor.[2]
Behind the scenes
Dixian was created for the second season of the Disney+ televison series Star Wars: Andor,[2] first appearing in the episode "Ever Been to Ghorman?", released on April 29, 2025.[3] It was named after graphic designer Lauren Dix.[2] In the episode, a collar[1] on the animatronic creature Elvis features its namesake in Dixian.[4]
