The Discord was a Star Destroyer in service to the Galactic Empire during the reign of the New Republic. It was under the command of Captain Fessix, who maintained a close relationship with SoroSuub Corporation's Varada sector holdings top operating executive Tyanna Tymb and regularly received information from her regarding her New Republic customers.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Discord was introduced in "Adversaries: Characters for the Star Wars: New Republic Campaign," a roleplaying game source article authored by Bill Slavicsek for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game and published in the ninety-seventh issue of the Polyhedron magazine in July 1994. Since that article was released outside of the Lucas Licensing process,[1] it was considered non-canonical with respect to the Star Wars Legends continuity.[2]
