- "You know how to fly?"
"I stole my first escape pod when I was six, while with my mom on a diplomatic trip to Mon Cala. Trust me, I know how to fly." - ―Imri Cantaros and Avon Starros
A diplomatic trip to Mon Cala was undertaken by the Galactic Republic senator Ghirra Starros[1] in 238 BBY.[2] For the trip to[1] the planet[3] Mon Cala, Ghirra's six year old daughter Avon accompanied her. During her time on the planet, Avon stole an escape pod and flew it.[1]
In 232 BBY,[3] during the Nihil pirates attack on[1] the Star Cruiser[4] Steady Wing, a group of individuals including Avon made their way to a hangar where they came across a maintenance shuttle they could use to escape. Before the Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh could sit in the pilot's seat, she discovered Avon was already seated there, and the Jedi Padawan Imri Cantaros skeptically asked the girl if she knew how to fly. In response, Avon informed the group of the time she had stolen the escape pod during the trip to Mon Cala, and told them to trust her.[1]
Behind the scenes
