Diana Kent is a South African actress who portrays General Engell in the 2019 film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker. She played Kate Winslet's mother in Peter Jackson's psychological thriller Heavenly Creatures from 1994,[2] and has played guest roles in British TV series such as Heartbeat, Midsomer Murders, New Tricks, Agatha Christie's Poirot and the 2012 miniseries Titanic.[3]
