Devastation of Kashyyyk

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

The Devastation of Kashyyyk was a campaign of rampage and destruction that took place on the planet Kashyyyk in 4 ABY, during the Galactic Civil War. Following the death of Emperor Palpatine at the Battle of Endor, the Galactic Empire began to fall apart. Moff Darcc thus decided to turn Kashyyyk into an Imperial safe world. Although Kashyyyk has been occupied and its inhabitants enslaved from the early days of the Empire, Moff Darcc's campaign was more devastating than ever. Moff Darcc's Imperial forces associated with Pekt's Trandoshan slavers undertook a planet-wide campaign of destruction to rid the planet of its native inhabitants. The Wookiees were exterminated or enslaved and deported to Kessel while the cities were all destroyed. As the Wookiees grow desperate, the Wookiee Chieftain Attichitcuk contacted his son Chewbacca to get help from the New Republic. Chewbacca and Han Solo soon arrived on the planer and initiated the liberation of Kashyyyk.^[1]
