A detail was a military unit used by the Galactic Empire's stormtroopers during the Galactic Civil War. Smaller than a squad, a detail consisted of between three and five stormtroopers. When the Empire took over Research Station Shantipole in the Roche asteroid field, District Commander Bane Nothos ordered details and squads of stormtroopers to patrol the facility and detain any Verpine present.[1]
