The Derf system was a part of the Outer Rim Territories' Sluis sector.[1] It shared its name with the Derf Chapter of the Max Rebo Fan Club.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Derf system was introduced in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry. The Online Companion placed it in grid square M-19.[1]
