Denebian holo-chess was a form of holochess often played in casinos. The Mantine Casino on board the Kuari Princess had Denebian holo-chess among its games.

The reference to Denebian holo-chess was removed from Riders of the Maelstrom when it was reprinted in Classic Adventures: Volume Three. It was replaced with Dejarik.
